Casa Pia was the sensation of last season, at least for the first half. Casapianos were 4th by round 12, and were sitting in European spots until around the 23rd round, but a poor final sequence made them drop to 10th in the end. Filipe Martins is expected to keep the 3-5-2/3-4-3 system from last season, but surely with a new twist, as their opponents were starting to deal with Casa Pia's tactics by the end of the season. A couple of important players like Afonso Taira, Kunimoto or Lucas Soares left during the current summer, but the most important units from last season were kept. The likes of Saviour Godwin, Soma, Lelo or Neto remain in the club. They will now be joined by an interesting group of new signings. Rafael Brito, Pablo Roberto and the returning Yan Eteki are very good additions to midfield; wingers Gaizka, Jajá and Fernando Andrade will provide even more options for Martins' quick and direct attacking game. The two major problems, for now, is that there are some players that might leave by the end of current month (Leonardo Lelo and Godwin, the most likely). Also, Ricardo Batista is never the safest keeper to have around, especially now with 36.

Target

Might repeat last season's mid-table position. Surely won't be as surprising as they were in the first rounds of last season.
