Boavista had a positive run in last season, finishing 9th with the same points as Famalicão, in 8th, and just two points away from 7th place. Boavista looked a more positive and joyful team, scoring more goals than usually they do: Boavista was the best attack in league aside from the big-4, with 43 goals scored. Petit will continue at the helm, and it is expected that he keeps exploring this new side on him and on the club: a true pleasure in playing the ball. In goal, the iconic Braccali left, but 'Panteras' didn't feel the ned to bring anyone new, as César is a very reliable option. At the back, Chidozie is returning from a loan spell and will work as a true new signing, adding to an already firm set of options for centre-back. Pedro Malheiro and Bruno are safe options for full-backs, but they may leave during the month as there are some interested teams. In midfield, there's also the real threat of Makouta leaving (there's a formal offer on the table). Ibra Camará would be a very decent internal replacement to form a new duo in midfield with Seba Perez.Vukotic and Watai might have a word too. On the wings and in attack, Boavista lost 3 important players: Ricardo Manga, Yusupha and Kenji. Boavista will rely on youngsters to replace these three. Agra and Bruno Lourenço should form the attacking trio with Bozenik who is now a definitive Boavista player and is the biggest star in attack. Martim Tavares, with 19, is the hottest prospect for the future.

Target

Boavista is expected to repeat a top-half position.
