Kasimpasa could have found themselves in the 1st league, if coach Fuat Capa had not arrived and relegation had not been lifted. Until his arrival, Kasimpasa had collected only 4 ponits in 10 fixtures and were standing in the relegation zone. With him, they suffered only one defeat in the last 12 fixtures and finished the campaign in the midtable. Following such success, the fans were very hopeful for the next season, but the board disappointed them so far. First of all, they parted company with coach Fuat Capa as he was replaced by Mehmet Altiparmak, who will work in the Super League for the 1st time in his career. This does not mean that he is not good enough as he was able to lead three different teams to promotion to the top level for the last three seasons in a row. As known, Kasimpasa are a club which have been very careful with their finances for years. They have generally been adding loanees for a while. In the summer, though, they saw the departures of the loanees, but they did not bring anyone so far except Yasin Dulger, who spent the past season on loan in the 3rd league. The former Porto and Besiktas winger Quaresma was released. Besides that, they sold 12-goal scorer Mame Thiam and Fatih Ozturk but got no replacements. The fans got shocked when they heard that. Trabzon have complained with the FA about creating unfair competition. The current squad look very weak now. They will probably bring some players, but it is too late and they are expected to struggle in the initial fixtures until they find their rhythm.

Target

If they bring some useful players in, they at least have the capacity for a midtable finish. If not, they should aim at escaping relegation.
