It’s been a quite incredible summer for Leicester City who can look forward to an exciting season after a major spending spree. Sven Goran Eriksson, the former England manager, has brought in eight quality signings in the shape of goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, defenders John Pantsil, Lee Peltier, Paul Konchesky, Matt Mills and Sean St Ledger, midfielder Neil Danns and forward Dave Nugent. Such a breathtaking influx of talent means the Foxes are quite rightly fancied for promotion if the new men can gel quickly. Eriksson is regarded as one of the best managers in the world and Leicester appear to be going places. They even managed to organised a friendly with the great Real Madrid. Andy King remains in midfield and his goals could also be crucial. Optimism could not be higher.

Target

Leicester will feel they can not only win promotion, but win the league as well.
