The champions for 4 of the last 6 years had a difficult 2025. Finished only sixth and never got higher than third place all year. Young Daniel Guðjohnsen developed very well as a striker while Botheim was out injured in 2025. The pair could be starting together now as the new head coach seems to favour 2 up front based on his selections in the pre-season Swedish Cup tournament. Continue to have vastly experienced group and most of the players are used to win titles so the Sky Blues can expect much better displays and results in 2026.
