Football Season Guide

Amedspor enter their first Super League season with huge excitement after earning promotion from the 1st League. No doubt that the atmosphere at home will be one of their biggest advantages as the club have a passionate fan base. However, the difference between two divisions is obvious and the board seem aware of that. That is why they have been one of the active teams in the transfer market so far. Instead of trusting only the promotion squad, they have tried to add players with experience from different leagues. Especially, the defence line has been strengthened significantly. Dellova arrived from CSKA Sofia while David Bates was added from Standard Liege. Umut Meras also joined following his Eyupspor period and he knows the Super League very well. Burak Bozan was brought from Gaziantep to increase the quality on the net. On the other hand, Erce Kardesler left while experienced defenders Hasan Ali Kaldirim and Tarkan Serbest are no longer in the squad. Syrota also returned to Dynamo Kyiv following his loan period. Considering all these changes, the new defensive structure may need some time to create chemistry. Midfield looks interesting following the arrivals of Raveloson and Furkan Soyalp. Both should add some quality and experience while Andre Poko returned from his loan period but then left the club. Adama Traore and Sinan Kurt are also among the departures. In offence, Ermal Krasniqi looks like one of the most important additions. Young Berk Kizildemir was also signed while some attacking players returned from their loan periods. However, Afena-Gyan returned to Cremonese and Dimitrov & Bassan left the team. In general, they have changed an important part of the squad and there are enough interesting names to compete at this level. The main question is how quickly all these new players can play as a team.
