Solid last season W10 D11 L13 saw them exist in mid-table all the way. Finished 8th. Not really in contention for Europe but also never in any danger of being relegated. The main problems were in defence. Only 5 teams conceded more than Rize’s 52 goals. Had only 6 clean sheets all season. Not surprising the main moves so far this summer had been to add new bodies in that area. Added 3 new defenders already. Also, made sure to make Sagnan’s stay a permanent move. He began starting often only in the spring. His displays were very good. The main departure so far was that of captain and starting LB Casper Höjer. He will be missed. Signed Zakaria Ariss as a new LB. He lacks experience. On the lookout for a more permanent solution but yet to find one. Winger Ahmed Kutucu arrives on loan. Expected to start often and possibly provide better quality crosses. Main CF Ali Sowe proved to be a capable goalscorer in his 2 years at the club. Not an exciting striker but a solid target man that thrives when enough crosses come his way. After a calm season it has been a calm summer so far also. Look well set for another campaign of solid but not great football.

Target

Top 10 finish will be seen as a good season.
