After working with 4 different managers, Kasimpasa was able to find the one and only Sami Ugurlu and actually had a great second half of the season. Ugurlu was able to set up a great team with what he had available and allowed Kasimpasa to have a comfortable mid-table finish without worrying about relegation. However, this year might not be the same story as the quality of the Kasimpasa squad has gone down significantly. The only significant new signings are Stephane Bahoken and Raoul Petretta and it is doubtful if both are good enough for Super Lig. Kasimpasa lost young talents Eren Elmali and Haspolat to Trabzonspor this transfer window. Both players were hard-working and promising for the future of the club. Central midfielder Rayane Aabid also left alongside the players who reached the end of their loans; Umut Bozok, Jackson Muleka, Awer Mabil, and Michal Travnik. Support central defender Spajic was released. The reason for the downgrade is the board’s decision of spending less money. The decision of continuing with manager Ugurlu was also part of this policy and with the lack of new talent, Kasimpasa should find it hard to replace the players leaving the club.

Target

Kasimpasa is a team that usually aims for a mid-table finish away from the relegation zone. However, the competition at the bottom is expected to be fierce this season so Kasimpasa's first priority should be to survive.
