Gaziantep FK should thank their home performances last season as they ensured their survival at top level because away they were the worst of the league. In the summer they managed to sign 10-goal scorer Figueiredo on a permanent deal. Besides him, they managed to keep Maxim in the team for one more season which was vital considering his 15 goals and 8 assists performance. Arda, Hanousek and Omurcan come into the defence besides Ertugrul, also added on a permanent deal. Although Caulker, Ceylan and Olkowski left the team, the coach is able to field several variations at backline. This season they will not have to wait for all new faces to adapt to the league as the whole arrivals except Veliu and Hanousek know the league. So, it is a great decision to bring in Jevtovic and Markovic who have played in Super League before. At this point, the coach needs to find more goal scorers beside Maxim and Figueiredo in order to move to higher place this season. Offensive wingers Veliu, Mustafa and Markovic should make the difference, especially on the road. Except Maxim, Gunay and Djilobodji, they are a pretty young team. So, inexperience could be a big problem this season. Even if they take the lead in some fixtures, they could lose points which cause them face stress at the end of the season.

Anywhere safe. With a few important players, they can manage to offer dynamism which could make them finish the season between the midtable and the relegation zone.
