Ankaragucu returned to the top level after one year as they won the title in the 1st league. In the summer, they brought in very interesting players like former Manchester United man Macheda and former Real Madrid man Jese Rodriguez. Besides them, three new defenders like Marlon, Oguz and Radakovic were added and they are all expected to be regular starters. Diack and Pedrinho come into the midfield, wingers Chatzigiovanis, Beridze and Sowe will give great options to coach Mustafa Dalci. They replaced keeper Akin Alkan with Samsun loanee Nurullah, who is very trustable. This season, they have many offensive options and they are not expected to face any problem there. Zahid, Ariyibi and Derdiyok stayed in the team which gives a great depth to the coach. In some roles, they are still short which could be their weakness. There are only Sinan and Alperen at center back except the new arrival. There is also no support player for Oguz. On the other hand, the quality of the midfield is a big question mark. Besides the big four teams, they have the most effective fans in the league. Following the recent new arrivals, their belief on their team became stronger. Especially, they are expected to create a great atmosphere at home.

Midtable. Considering their impressive transfer market performance, the capital city side are able to feel comfortable this season. If they can collect some points on road, they will probably find a midtable-place for themselves.
