Brighton finished the season really poorly although they were never in any serious danger of going down. But nevertheless, Chris Hughton has big work to do to shift the momentum at the club. The main problem last term was a lack of goal and to address that Hughton has brought in a series of strikers in the form of Daniel Akindayini, Vahid Hambo and Jack Harper. Other than those, and the addition of right back Liam Rosenior, it is pretty much the same squad which may work well, although the squad last term failed to really perform. Hughton's position may be under threat if his side fail to turn the tide in the opening months of the season. Certainly there are no ambitions for anything greater than mid-table this term.

Target

A top half finish is probably the best that can be hoped for.
