Rotherham will have been delighted just to survive last term and there certainly was a feeling of relief when they did just that despite a points deduction. Steve Evans has certainly ensured his side are a better one than last term removing the dead wood and bringing in a series of players from the Championship. Danny Collins, Greg Halford, Joe Mattock, Chris Maguire and Aidy White have all done the business at this level while Grant Ward is a useful arrival from Tottenham. Goals were a problem last term though and none of the signings such they are able to cure that aspect of the Millers' game though. In Steve Evans the club has a passionate manager who is able to get the best out of his team even though he often takes great delight in winding others up the wrong way.

Target

Survival will be the main aim, anything else will be a bonus.
