It has been a fairly quiet summer for Fulham on the back of what was a frustrating campaign on their return to the Championship. But Kit Symons has made two potentially significant signings in the form of midfielder Tom Cairney from Blackburn and left back Luke Garbutt from Everton. Out have gone expensive earners such as Hugo Rodallega and Bryan Ruiz who found the drop to the Championship hard to stomach. There is a feeling that the club have re-established what they are about and the team spirit should be stronger as a result this term. Much will depend on the goals (and assists) of record signing Ross McCormack who was one of the few shining lights of last term. The loss of highly rated forward Patrick Roberts to Manchester City is a bit of a blow but Fulham should have a bit of money from that sale to reinvest in their squad.
