Hull were somewhat unfortunate to be relegated from the Premier League last term and will want to get back to where they were quickly. They have however lost key players in James Chester and Robbie Brady so their task may be somewhat difficult. Steve Bruce was also frustrated in the transfer market and took his time to bring in players with Dame N'Doye, Sam Clucas and Ryan Taylor eventually joining late in the summer. The off the field issues, especially the fans' disappointment at attempts to change the name of the club, may also become a bit of a nuisance. There is enough talent about the side to prove they belong back in the Premier League though and although some boards may have chosen to dispense with their manager, Bruce is a class act. He is probably the right choice to lead the team but a poor start may prompt a change.

Target

Hull should be looking at a Premier League return at the first time of asking.
