After finally making it up to the Championship via the play-offs, Huddersfield will be expected just to establish themselves as a decent second tier club. The signs from Simon Grayson's summer shopping spree are promising. Sean Scannell is an exciting winger, big things are expected of Oliver Norwood while Adam Clayton and Keith Southern along with defenders Joel lynch and Anthony Gerrard are four men who have been there and done it in the Championship. A lot will depend on whether they can hang on to Jordan Rhodes, the country's top scorer last term, with plenty of speculation linking him with moves away from the club recently. There are no reasons why Huddersfield should not establish themselves as a decent side at this level. They have taken their time to get to the Championship but they have a good set-up and manager Grayson will be pleased to get his first summer as Terriers' boss under his belt.

Target

Mid-table certainly appears to be a reasonable expectation, perhaps more if they can hang on to Rhodes.
