Football Season Guide

For a couple of years, Kasimpasa have been considered by pundits one of the weakest teams in the league, but they have always managed to surprise everybody in the early months. Once again, they look weakaned comparing to last season. They were standing in the European Cups zone, when the league entered into the winter break, but they sold Diagne & Eduok in January. These departures affected their offensive power so badly. This summer, the fans saw another important departure as Trezeguet was sold to Aston Villa. This move improved the club’s financial situation a lot, but his place was not filled yet. Speaking about transfers, the board added Mustafa Pektemek from the city rivals Besiktas JK. He has been far from the 1st team football for a long time. So his performance is a question mark. Besides him, Mame Thiam was signed in, but he has been also far from high level football for two years. The coach also has Fode Koita on his pocket. The fans do not think that their offence line is trustable yet. Their biggest missing is a play-maker at the moment. On the other hand, they added Fatih Ozturk from Akhisar Belediye. Considering that, they also have Ramazan Kose. They look good on the net. The defence line is almost the same comparing to last season, but it is interesting as they were the most conceding team of the league. The only departure is represented by Josue Sa whose loan period came to an end. Along with Karim Hafez, they loaned Jorge Fernandes in from Porto. He has spent the last season in Tondela as a loanee. The fans are doubtful about his quality. Aytac Kara is a good signing as his warrior soul is very suitable to the team’s mentality. It is obvious that they also look short in both flanks. Once again, a tough season awaits them. If they cannot defend well this season, they may have to face bad results with their limited offensive power.
