It was 9 years ago when Denizlispor said good-bye to the Super League. After offering great efforts, they returned to the top level as the title holders of the 1st league last season. According to the last authorities, they seemed the strongest newcomers ahead of the new season. Last season, they were the top scoring team of the league. They are not expected to face any offensive problems this season seeing their current offence line. First of all, they did a great job by signing Rodallega from Trabzon. He has been playing in Turkey for 4 years and his quality will add a lot. Beside him, they brought Sedat Sahinturk and Sako in and already had Mehmet Akyuz, Burak Calik & Aissati. They are all expected to produce plenty of goals which will help the coach reach his target. What about the defence… Some loanees left the team as expected and the coach parted the company with some squad members from last season. Mustafa Yumlu & Sapunaru, who were both playing at the top level in the last season, were signed in. Besides them, Zeki Yavru & Tiago Lopes were also added. All these players will be useful, but they need to bring one apiece player to the center back and the left-back. Along with the summer arrivals, Murawski, Recep Niyaz & Mbamba are capable of playing both ways of football. So the midfield looks good enough for the long season. In general, their squad look ready for the new season. Considering their fans’ support, they are unlikely to face any problem this season.

Target

They can achieve a top 10 finish following the summer moves. A strong cup run would be ideal.
