PSV U21 had a mostly mediocre season last year as they quite rarely showed their real quality and talent and lacked the sort of consistency to get into the upper half of the standings. Adil Ramzi struggled with aspects of the job in his first season in charge but will surely be looking to mould a more cohesive and prepared unit this time around. He will be looking for further development from the likes of Isaac Babadi and Jason van Duiven, who are likely to be the pillars of the team up front. They showed some really encouraging moments at times last season and have what it takes to follow the footsteps of Johan Bakayoko and outgrow this level quickly. In terms of losses, the PSV defence has been most affected as Jenson Seelt and Fedde Leysen have moved to England and Belgium and some youngsters from the academy will have to step up and show that they can contribute. Jevon Simons looks like a real talent in midfield while payers like Jamal Gonzaga and Tim van den Heuvel can make the step up this season as well if they are given the chances. But this PSV sides is not exactly stacked with talent and they are likely to meander in the bottom half of the standings.
