2013-14 promises to be a very interesting season indeed for Birmingham City. A poor start saw a relegation battle a very real possibility indeed but Lee Clark was able to turn his side around. Sadly for the Blues off the field ownership issues are still surfacing and resolving them seems critical. Clark has done exceptionally well in the transfer market this summer, getting fees for Curtis Davies and Nathan Redmond but has bought well too with Matt Green, the top scorer in the Conference last term, a significant signing with goalkeeper Darren Randolph and midfielder Andrew Shinnie also players to look out for. It is a trio of loan signings that make the Blues solid with Kyle Bartley and Dan Burn arriving from Swansea and Fulham respectively to shore up the defence while Scott Allan has been borrowed from local rivals West Brom. On paper, on the pitch at least, Birmingham are well placed for a push at promotion.

Target

Birmingham will aim high and believe that promotion is a possibility this term.
