Leicester suffered agonising disappointment when they lost to Watford in the play-off semi-finals after missing a last gasp penalty which the Hornets went right down the other end to score. It will take them a long time to get over that disappointment and it has been a quiet summer since. Nigel Pearson's job was reportedly at risk but he has remained at the helm. He has been slow in the transfer market with concerns over Financial Fair Play rules coming into play. He waited until late July before snapping up left back Zoumana Bakayogo although Jermaine Beckford and Richie Wellens have both got themselves off the wage bills. Leicester probably need to sign at least two or three more players if they are to challenge for promotion. They have so far kept skipper Wes Morgan and keeper Kasper Schmeichel despite heavy interest from Nottingham Forest and Hull respectively while Anthony Knockaert, Dave Nugent and Chris Wood keep them with a mouthwatering attack.

Target

Leicester will be determined to go one better than last season but they probably need more signings to compete with others at the top.
