Somerset outfit, Yeovil Town are preparing for their first ever season in the English second tier following their unlikely promotion from the League One playoffs earlier this year. Boss, Gary Johnson has already worked miracles in his second stint as manager at Huish Park and he has been hard at work over the close season to add to his squad to try and defy the odds once again and avoid an instant return to League One. It will no doubt be a challenge given that Yeovil's playing budget is far inferior to the rest of the division, but that hasn't stopped Johnson bringing in some good young talent during the close season. Unpredictable winger, Joel Grant has arrived from Wycombe, while promising strikers Sam Hoskins and Kieffer Moore will also be unknown quantities to Championship defences. Centre back, Dan Seaborne has some Championship experience, along with Alan Tate who joins on a season-loan from Swansea. Johnson will be utilising the loan market and has already raided Liverpool and Chelsea for Michael Ngoo and Billy Clifford respectively. Their tight Huish Park ground may work in their favour and a solid start is needed to ensure they don't play catch up for the remainder of the season.

Target

Ultimately to enjoy the experience of Championship football, whilst keeping in touch with the rest of the division to try and pull off an unlikely survival bid.
