Doncaster have made some managerial changes since their promotion straight back to the Championship at the first attempt. After Brian Flynn successfully continued the good work of Dean Saunders, the Welshman has since moved to become director of football. Paul Dickov has taken over as manager and made some significant midfield signings in the shape of Harry Forrester, Mark Duffy and surprising Marc De Val from Real Madrid. There is talk that more signings could be on their way especially if a planned takeover comes to fruition. Rovers have already been linked with moves for Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given and their former striker Billy Sharp and if they are to happen they are likely to be a force to be reckoned with. Doncaster are definitely in a far better shape to survive this time than when they went down just over a year ago.

Target

Survival will be their only target and as the cliche goes anything else will be a bonus.
