Bournemouth prepare for life in the second tier after automatic promotion from League One last term. Under boss, Eddie Howe, the Cherries have gone from strength to strength in his second spell in charge of the Dorset club. With a short, slick passing style of play, they are sure to attract admirers over the course of the season as they seek to establish themselves in the Championship this season. Transfer activity has been somewhat quiet, although Howe has pepped up his backline with experienced duo, Ian Harte and Elliott Ward arriving from Reading and Norwich respectively. Powerful front man Mohamed Coulibaly has arrived from Swiss side, Grasshoppers. However, much will rest on the shoulders of striker, Brett Pitman, who bagged 19 goals last season but failed during his time in the Championship with Bristol City and will surely have a point to prove.

Target

Establish themselves in the second tier and avoid the drop.
