Football Season Review

№3: Norwich City

It was the proverbial season of two halves for Norwich City as they recovered from a disappointing first part to then turn on the style in the second. They eventually finished third and won promotion via the play-offs after victories against local rivals Ipswich and then Middlesbrough. On paper they had probably the best squad in the Championship and Neil Adams' failure to get the best out of his men appeared to have cost the club. However Alex Neil came in and really turned around the fortunes with just three defeats in his 25 games in charge. Neil just did the simple things right with the defence proving strong, midfield effective and the goals started to fly in. Cameron Jerome scored 21 goals and Lewis Grabban 12 while Bradley Johnson had a fantastic season with 15 goals from midfield contributing to an all-action season. Nathan Redmond was another success story and it appears as if they have a much better chance of Premier League safety than in their previous campaign.
